| Jochen Boos, Managing Director of Polyamide High Performance GmbH, announced today that Lowell Bivens (53) has been appointed President and CEO of Polyamide High Performance, Inc. , in Scottsboro, Alabama. Lowell Bivens succeeds Carlos Serrano who was killed July 29th in a traffic accident (see below).   Lowell Bivens“While we are still shocked and saddened by the sudden loss of Carlos, I am pleased to have an experienced and familiar colleague like Lowell who can assume the leadership position at PHP Inc.” said Jochen Boos. “His background with our company and his experience as a business manager in the automotive supply industry gives me confidence Lowell can keep PHP on its successful path”. Lowell Bivens is currently President of Diolen Germany, Inc. , and has been a Scottsboro resident for the past 15 years. He has more than 30 years experience in the industrial fiber industry within the various companies of Akzo Nobel and Acordis. Lowell Bivens said, “Following Carlos will be an extremely challenging task. I have the utmost respect for him and his accomplishments. I look forward to working together with the great people of Polyamide High Performance to build on the strong foundation laid by Carlos”.
