|
| Tires |
demand lifetime reliability and safety, and our PA 6.6 Enka® Nylon tire yarn types fulfil more than these requirements through their specialized properties. They are used as reinforcement material in heavy cross-ply tires and for cap-plies in radial tires. The next step in tire yarn research and development: Stanylenka® – our promising PA 4.6 yarn for further improvement of tire performance.

| Mechanical Rubber Goods (MRG) |
are exposed to strong forces and high pressure, large differences in temperatures and aggressive environments. Enka® Nylon yarn types allow constructions of suitable reinforcing fabrics and cords for MRG applications such as:
• Heavy-duty conveyor belts for different transportation processes and services • Transmission belts for industrial, household and automotive applications • High-pressure hoses, fire hoses and automotive hoses for cooling, air-conditioning and power steering • Air springs and heavy inflatable boats

| Ropes and Nets |
Mooring Ropes for super-tankers and mountaineering ropes are applications where the ability of high shock absorbance and longtime reliability is most important. Diolen® 855TN "Oceanic" is a high-tenacity multifilament industrial polyester yarn, specially developed to serve the rope market with focus on marine applications and in particular with respect to offshore mooring.

| Sewing Yarns |
PHP has developed a complete range of high-tenacity Enka® Nylon PA 6.6 yarns for sewing threads. Enka® Nylon sewing yarns are the material of choice for all kinds of demanding sewing thread applications where thermal stability, abrasion resistance and high-tenacity are essential.
Our existing yarn portfolio has been expanded by the new yarn type
Enka® Nylon 433HRST
Especially developed for sewing thread applications in 235, 312 and 470 dtex with- Increased tenacity
- Reduced elongation at break
- Moderate shrinkage
Enka® Nylon 444HRST completes the sewing yarn range in 110 dtex.
Furthermore we offer Enka® Nylon 140HRT in 700 dtex f108 and 940 dtex in f140 and Stanylenka® in 470 dtex f72 (PA 4.6) which are also approved for this demanding sewing process.
